Hefei Run’an Boarding School was funded by the Hefei Wanbo science / Educational group, and approved by the Hefei Municipal Government and the Hefei Educational authorities in 1993. It is a full time and privately owned boarding school consisting of primary and middle school. We are located in the Hefei Economic& Technology Development zone with an investment of rmb150 million or (USA- 18 million dollars) the campus occupies an area of 11 hectares and a floor space of 7,000 square meters. Presently there are 84 classrooms, 500 teachers on staff and workers, with an enrollment of 2,500 students.

The school employs a team of teachers who are capable in quality, reasonable in structure, proper in number and permanent in state. Presently the school has 259 fulltime teachers, among which, there are 14 provincial level teaching novas and 2 super rate teachers.

In the years 2001 and 2002, 100% of the senior high graduates were up to the selection line at the college entrance examinations. The average marks of the junior high at the senior high entrance examination in 2001, which was 84 marks higher than the admission line in Hefei city. While in 2002 the average marks of the junior high graduates was 529 which was 119 over the admission line. The school was awarded the 2nd prize for senior high instruction, and 3rd prize for increasing instruction quality. Over the past years, teachers and students have frequently won awards in the state, provincial or municipal level competitions.
