Analysis of the Target Students
| Students are from Grade 8. They have basic reading skills, such as grasping the main idea, choosing the correct answers and so on. But as for summarizing the details，it is still hard for them. What’s more, their English level is just around the average level. They may find it difficult to use a mind map to analyse city problems and write a passage according to it. At the same time, how to use some conjunctions correctly is important. Furthermore, it is necessary for students to develop a social responsibility after the class. | ||||

本堂课是一堂读写课，人口增长引发的问题是近几年来的热门话题，她对此了解较多。在教学中,让她回答城市发展带来的问题，利用图片一步步引导她，从而让她能够轻松地理解城市问题，同时，注意知识之间的衔接和过渡，因为她基础较好，让她在学习结束时进行归纳和总结，有利于她更好地掌握英语的学习技巧。但是，在如何解决问题时，她不能熟练运用英语表达自己的看法，还需引导和强化练习。
