        MSE（Main Suite Examinations）is an international English assessment system for English learners at different stages. MSE enable students to acquire lifelong English language skills and gain an advantage in hunting jobs or study competitions.

        剑桥通用英语分为五个级别，由初级至高依次为：

        There are five levels in MSE, they are:

        1.Cambridge English: Key 或Cambridge English: Key for Schools：又称KET, 是一项基础英语水平认证，证明你可以在简单的情景中使用英语进行沟通。

        Cambridge English: Key or Cambridge English: Key for Schools：KET, it’s a basic English qualification that shows you can use English to communicate in simple situations.

        2.Cambridge English: Preliminary 或 Cambridge English: Preliminary for Schools： 又称PET，是一项中级英语水平认证。面向已经掌握基础英语，并且具备日常实用语言技能的考生。

        Cambridge English：Preliminary or Cambridge English：Preliminary for Schools: PET, it’s an intermediate-level qualification for those who have mastered the basics of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use.

        3.Cambridge English：First 或 Cambridge English：First for Schools：又称FCE，是中高级水平证书，可以证明你已经具备了在英语环境中自信沟通所需的语言的技能。

        Cambridge English： First or Cambridge English：First for Schools:  FCE, it’s a qualification that shows you have the language skills needed to communicate confidently in English- speaking environment.

        4.Cambridge English：Advanced：又称CAE，用于证明你的英语成绩优异。 CAE广泛受到大学雇主以及政府等机构的认可。

        Cambridge English：Advanced：CAE, it’s a qualification that shows your high-level achievement in English. ACE is widely recognized by university employers and government agencies.

        5.Cambridge English： Proficiency (CPE) ：又称CPE，是剑桥大学外语考试部所提供的最高级别的资格证书。它证明你的英语已经达到非常高的水平。
        Cambridge English： Proficiency (CPE) : CPE, it’s the highest level qualification and it shows the world you have mastered English to exceptional level.

        其中， KET，是一项相当于欧洲语言共同参考框架 (CEFR)中A2级别的考试。Cambridge English：Key与Cambridge English： Key for Schools中的任务和题目类型相同。这两种考试皆考查日常生活中使用英语的能力。唯一的区别在于，Cambridge English： Key适合已经离开校园和可能已经工作的考生，而Cambridge English： Key for Schools面向的是校园考生。

        KET is the equivalent of level A2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The tasks in the Cambridge English：Key and Cambridge English： Key for Schools are the same. They both evaluate candidates’ English abilities in daily life. The difference is that Cambridge English：key is for the candidates who have left campus, while Cambridge English：key for Schools is for the candidates on campus.

        Cambridge English：Preliminary与Cambridge English： Preliminary for Schools的试题和问卷类型完全一致。这两项考试皆考查考生在日常生活中使用英语的能力。唯一的区别在于，Cambridge English：Preliminary中的话题和内容更加适合已经离开校园和可能已经工作的考生，而Cambridge English： Preliminary for Schools中的话题和内容更加符合在校考生的兴趣。

        The tasks in Cambridge English：Preliminary and Cambridge English： Preliminary for Schools are the same. They both evaluate candidates’ English abilities in daily life. The difference is that Cambridge English：Preliminary is for the candidates who have left campus, while Cambridge English：Preliminary for Schools is for the candidates on campus.
