Analysis of the Teaching Material
| What: 本单元文章选自八年级上册第六模块的第二单元。文章讲述的是现今我国大熊猫的现状,包括熊猫数量,生存环境,生活习性以及政府和世界自然基金会对大熊猫保护采取的措施和行动。文章最后,介绍了世界自然基金会(WWF)及其存在的重要意义——对濒危动物的保护。 Why: 本单元文章旨在号召人们多多关爱地球上的濒危动物,保护环境和地球。介绍WWF也更好的拓展学生的视野,丰富了其相关知识储备。 How: 文章采用4个自然段,结构清晰。第一段开门见山讲述熊猫属于濒危动物;第二段阐述熊猫濒危的内在原因和外在原因。第三段介绍人类(政府、自然公园、科学家等)对大熊猫的保护措施。直到最后一段说明世界自然基金会对动物的保护。文章包括动物保护相关的词汇:research, baby, scientist, produce, in order to等;同时,也有其相关的表达,如 “In order to protect pandas in the wild, the government is setting up nature park and developing other plans.”等。

辅弱学生:八(3)班----沈心怡
沈心怡同学是班级基础知识相对薄弱的学生,学习主动性一般,偏科现象严重,布置的作业任务会及时完成。包括笔记也能动笔去记。存在的问题是课堂上积极配合老师,课下无法及时巩固,因此在学习这个单元时,我首先要求孩子准备好笔记,对单词进行听读,熟练后进行背默,听写了解掌握情况。然后在课堂授课中要求笔记完成到位,课下及时来背诵一些重点短语和重点句型。接着课上带孩子们完成本单元相应习题时多给予她关注,适当给她一些符合她英语基础的题目来回答,并及时鼓励。进行语法知识的复习与巩固时,多下位到孩子身边叮嘱她笔记及书写。课下喊她来办公室提问课堂笔记并进行加深印象。在遇到不清楚的问题或者题型时,告知孩子来找老师请教,尽量做到今日事今日毕。
