| What: This text talks about the brief introduction of play Teahouse, Lao She’s personal information and today, the activities that can be done in the teahouse. Why: The passage lets students know about writers like Lao She and the traditional Chinese literature. It tries to cultivate students' interest and love for traditional Chinese culture, such as Beijing Opera and drama, and enhance their national pride. How: Students have learned basic language knowledge in unit 1, so it’s not difficult to understand the passage. The genre of this text is expository writing. This passage can be analyzed from three parts: the story of Teahouse, Lao She’s personal information and the activities that can be done in the teahouse. And the second paragraph describes Lao She’s life in chronological order. | ||||

| Merits: Before learning this course, students have learned some background knowledge and vocabulary about Lao She Teahouse in Unit 1 of this module. 本节阅读课以观看与话题相关的视频进行导入,她的学习兴趣比较高,积极参与课堂活动,要求她回答关于老舍的基本信息,将语文知识和英语进行融合。鉴于她基础较好,在后面的阅读活动中,绝大部分内容都能完成,但是最后一个写作文对于她来说,稍微有点难度,课上让她进行思考,并进行口头表达,课下让她对作文进行润色,写成文章,并一对一当面批改,指出她的问题并加以纠正。
