I’m John. I’m always interested in magic tricks. I spend a lot of my free time learning and practicing different tricks.
One day, I was performing some simple magic tricks in the park. There were a few people watching, but one person seemed particularly interested. It was a boy about my age.
After I finished, he came up to me and said, “That was amazing! How did you do that?” I smiled and showed him a couple of the tricks.
He was so excited and told me that he always wanted to learn magic but he didn’t know where to start. I offered to teach him some basics.
We spent the whole afternoon together, sharing tricks and laughing. His name was Tom and we quickly became good friends.
From then on, we would meet in the park regularly to come up with and practice new tricks. Magic not only brought us fun but also a wonderful friendship.

培优 七2班 桂梓萱
桂梓萱同学英语基础中等水平,每次单词听写正确率也在60%左右,平时在课堂上也特别认真与专注。每次布置作业,她都会积极完成。今天在课堂上学习了birds-watching这一部分,该同学上课听课认真,但是在课堂上不太敢表现自己,一直低着头,非常地安静。在课堂最后的分享环节,有几位同学积极举手去讲台展示自己,表达自己从爱好中可以学会的知识和生活学习能力。老师也在同学们分享的过程中不断鼓励和表杨孩子们的主动表现,希望可以调动孩子的积极性。接着终于等到桂梓萱同学举手了,分享结束后赢得了同学们和老师的肯定,孩子很高兴。课后找桂梓萱同学来沟通,再次表扬她的主动发言,希望在学习英语的路上找到自己的方法,遇到问题课下及时请教老师,做到不懂就问。英语课本更新后,学习单词量加大,要做到新课预习,课下复习,熟背单词短语搭配,完成老师布置的作业任务,今日事今日毕。
