Analysis of the Teaching Material

 

[What] 本单元语篇选自九年级上册第八模块,通过TonyBettyLingling之间的对话,让学生简单了解一些基本的日常体育活动。对话自然导入了一般过去时被动语态这一语法项目,复习了表达个人观点的句子,还呈现了一些与比赛相关的日常用语。让学生感知如何运用不同形式的语言准确、得体的发表个人观点,同时尊重他人的不同意见。

[Why] 本单元语篇旨在让学生初步了解怎样表达日常的体育活动。通过学习,引导学生热爱体育,积极参加体育活动,并学习运动员不畏艰险、刻苦训练、顽强拼搏的意识。在学习的过程中通过听、说等逐步培养学生热爱体育锻炼,通过锻炼保持身体健康。

[How] 从全书来看,本模块承接上一模块对一般现在时被动语态的学习和运用,着重两类时态的区别使用,让同学们通过课堂活动来掌握其用法并培养学生们对体育活动的热爱。Unit   1是本模块第一课时,主要是通过听懂谈论体育运动比赛的对话,进而引导学生谈论体育运动比赛及其喜欢的队伍。充分训练学生的听说技能,并且为第二课时的阅读和写作做铺垫。

Analysis of the Target Students

 

九年级的学生对体育运动已有了基本的了解,且本单元的对话内容是同学之间就篮球比赛的情况展开讨论,是学生非常熟悉的场景。这为本单元的话题学习储备了良好的知识背景。但学生在英语学习水平上存在着较为严重的两极分化,在听力与口头表达方面存在不同程度的不足,比如听的输入量不够,听力测试中简单的词汇的未能较好的捕捉与拼写,目标语言与语法不能在语境中灵活运用。

1.语言能力:学生掌握本单元重点词汇、短语,一般过去时被动语态的概念和用法。

2.学习能力:

1)学生能够听懂介绍体育比赛的对话并获取相关细节信息。

2)学生能够通过小组合作,谈论一场体育比赛,谈论自己喜欢的运动队或体育明星。

3.文化意识:通过学习,对运动话题及体育明星的谈论,感受积极向上,勇于挑战的运动精神。

4.思维品质:学生能够通过讨论体育比赛的对话,辩证地看待问题,并从中获得启发和教育,发展发散性思维和多角度思考问题的思维能力。

Reflection --- 辅弱九(1)班陈瑜杰

我们班虽然是A层,但部分学生学习不太踏实,他们基础知识薄弱,没有明确的学习计划。对于这类学生,老师要努力做到多鼓励,耐心细致地帮助他们,上课多留意,下课督促他们及时完成相关作业,必要时降低作业要求。比如陈瑜杰同学胆子小,害羞,他是我的育儿也是辅弱学生,所以我经常课后找他谈话,及时沟通了解他学习状态。课堂上多给他表现自我的机会,增强他的自信心,并及时给他鼓励。其次在课堂上为他专门设计一些难度较小的题目鼓励他回答,降低要求,让他体会到成功的喜悦,从而增加学习英语的兴趣,增强他自信心。
