本单元的话题是“欢迎来到初中”,属于“人与自我”主题范畴,涉及“生活与学习”主题群。这个单元主要围绕初中学生应如何为开学做准备和适应初中校园生活展开。本单元主要由Get readyKnow your schoolIntroduce yourselfHold a party这几个课时组成。

Get ready主要介绍了学生应如何为开学第一天做准备,包括提前准备学习用品和开学第一天穿着;Know your school主要介绍了新学校的设施场所、地点及其使用功能;Introduce yourself主要介绍了入学时学生如何向新老师和新同学介绍自己;Hold a party主要介绍了学生应如何与新同学团结合作,举办一场入学派对,并通过一起玩“制作许愿树”的游戏,彼此分享自己对初中校园生活的期待。

七年级学生刚从小学升入初中,对英语学科既充满好奇又可能感到一定的压力。他们大多具备了一定的英语基础,如简单的日常对话、词汇量和基本句型等,但在语法理解、阅读理解和写作表达方面仍需加强。此外,学生的学习习惯、学习动力及自主学习能力存在较大差异,部分学生可能缺乏自信心,需要教师的特别关注和鼓励。因此,需充分考虑学生的个体差异,实施分层教学,确保每位学生都能在原有基础上取得进步。

Tomorrow is my first day of junior high school.Luckily,we can wear our own clothes to school.We can also wear our own sun hats.I’m very excited about the first day and think about what to wear tomorrow.

I have many dresses.Two are very long,two are to my knees(膝盖) and the other three are short above(……上面) my knees.The two long ones are black.The colour makes me look too serious(严肃的) in school and I can’t do sports easily.The two ones to my knees are pink.They look pretty,but they can get dirty in a few hours.So I am going to wear the short dresses to school.Every time I can wear a different colour,sometimes green,sometimes blue and sometimes red.They all get their turns.I also have three different sun hats to go with my dresses.All my friends say I’m good at matching(搭配) clothes.
