本模块属于“人与社会”范畴,围绕“accident”这一话题展开听、说、读、写活动。第一单元的课题是交通事故,主要形式是教师与学生的对话,对话的语言易于理解。通过教师向同学们讲述亲眼目睹的交通事故展开,师生间对事故的发生情形进行相互对话,并借此事故与向同学们讨论避免交通意外的建议。通过本课时的学习,学生能够学会将过去进行时应用于while-when-引导的时间状语从句中。并且本课时的学习让学生讨论面对不同种意外发生时的应对措施,为本单元的单元目标制作急救手册奠定基础。并就这个话题进行问答、展开讨论。

八年级的学生已经具备了一定的英语基础,对日常对话和简单阅读材料有一定的理解能力。然而,他们在表达复杂句子和进行深入交流方面仍存在一定的困难。因此,本课时的教学需要注重学生的实际水平,通过多种形式的活动,帮助他们克服语言障碍,提高语言运用能力。同时,要注意学生的个体差异,采用分层教学的方法,确保每个学生都能有所收获。

Step 1: Lead-in

Watch some pictures and talk about them :

设计意图: 学生通过看图片回答问题引入今天的主题,通过这个环节直奔主题,直接导入课程,既节省时间又让学生快速进入课堂。同时既可以调动课堂气氛,还吸引了学生的学习兴趣。

Step 2 Free talk

Look at the picture and talk what is happening.(A2)

设计意图: 运用给定单词及本课新单词讨论图片中事故,既给后面课文学习奠定了基础,也练习了新单词。

Step 3 listening

(1). Play the tape, ask students to listen and underline the correct words.(Activity 2)

(2).Guide the students to listen to the conversation and write T or F.

(3). Complete the following advice. (A3)

设计意图:通过听力检测学生对关键信息的提取能力,看学生是否能抓住关键信息,关键词,关键句,既提高了学生的听力能力也为新课文的学习奠定了基础,同时加强学生对课文的理解,听取细节信息,训练和培养学生细节听力技巧。

设计意图:检测学生对课文细节的整体把握情况,查漏补缺,确定需要再次强调内容。

提高学生通过阅读提取信息能力和阅读能力,帮助学生进一步理解课文内容。

Accidents happen almost every day. Some accidents are not serious and some are. We need to be careful when we are on the road.

Yesterday, when I was walking along the street, I saw an accident. A boy was riding his bike very fast. While he was crossing the road, a car came suddenly. The driver tried to stop, but it was too late. The boy was hit by the car and fell off his bike. Luckily, the boy wasn't hurt badly.

We should always follow the traffic rules. Don't ride too fast. And be careful when you cross the road.

Reflection --- 培优辅弱

辅弱学生: 梁烽

梁烽同学英语基础知识相对薄弱,学习习惯较差。今天学习了模块8.1,主要学习了过去进行时,这一部分的语法点较为简单。课堂上主要讲解了过去进行时的含义,结构以及否定句,疑问句的变化等。课后我找该同学做一些关于过去进行时的习题,该同学能认真的做出来,我对他进行了表扬。同时,我鼓励他树立英语学习的自信心,如果遇到学习问题,可以及时跟老师联系。他的书写也是一个很头疼的问题,书写不工整。我要求他要重视起来,每天坚持练习一页衡水体字帖,养成良好的书写习惯。
