What】该语篇属于“人与社会”主题范畴,涉及子主题为“世界主要国家的文化习俗与文化景观、节假日与庆祝活动”。两篇听力语篇属于连续性文本中的新闻报道和日常对话类型,主要介绍了圣诞节庆祝活动带来的资源浪费和环境污染及Mark一家人讨论并决定采取一些新型环保方式庆祝圣诞节。

Why】通过本课时的学习,学生不仅可以知晓当前传统过节方式带来的巨大的浪费和严重的污染情况,更能选择绿色环保的过节方式,增强环保意识。  

How   语篇一为新闻报道,语篇二为对话。材料借助语境有效地使用一般现在时着重介绍传统的过圣诞节的方式带来的纸资源、食物资源、木材资源的浪费和“塑料”制品对环境的污染。该对话围绕如何利用绿色环保的新方式过圣诞节展开,涉及的核心语言为“表建议、倡议的句型”,让学生在较为真实的情境下感知如何运用一般现在时和表建议、倡议的句型,并得体地发表个人观点。

已有基础:大部分学生对过圣诞节的习俗比较熟悉且比较感兴趣,另外学生在小学阶段已经学过一般现在时,对该语法点已有初步认知。

困难障碍:学生对于表倡议的句型比较陌生,表达起来较为困难,并且“绿色环保的新型过节方式”该话题比较新颖,学生接触较少,因此引导学生准确表述新型的过节方式及发表自己的观点是本课时的重难点。  

突破措施:1.采用互动式的活动和学生之间的对话,激发学生的学习兴趣,2.通过设置分层听力练习,课文朗读和口语表达的练习,巩固有关节日的核心词汇和句型,培养学生的听力理解能力和口语交际能力。

1.在语境中理解并认读词汇:put up a Christmas tree, share a large meal, give each other   gifts, create pollution, waste, plastic, wrap

2.通过听有关庆祝圣诞节的对话,说出庆祝活动带来的环境问题以及创新的过节方式的细节信息。

3.小组讨论,能正确使用提建议的重点句型。

Reflection --- 培优:夏英哲

本节课是一节听说课。通过听力训练,引导学生反思自己的过节方式是否环保,并思考如何“绿色过节”。在教学中要注意学生参与度,确保每个学生都有机会练习和表达。在课后,对于夏英哲同学进行了单独一对一辅导。孩子在英语听力方面,对于文章填空的题目,容易犯错。我告诉他听力做题技巧。在听力训练之前,一定要对文本熟悉,做到心中有数。圈出题目的关键词,在听的时候集中注意力。同一片材料反复听,重复听,多多训练,日积月累,听力一定很会有所提高的。同时该同学在学习中缺乏耐心,我要求他要静下心来去学习,戒骄戒躁。
