Analysis of the Target Students
| The students have learned English for almost 9 years. They have some basic skills in English learning, so I designed some personal and group activities to help them express their opinions and learn to communicate with others. After the study of unit1, they have grasped the key words and expressions in this module and they also know the basic structure of passive voice, which will help them understand the passage well and write about their own favorite books. | ||||
Teaching objectives | After this lesson, students are able to: 1.To be able to understand the new words and phrases and know more about The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. 2. 本节课为读写课,指导她通过多种阅读技能获取信息,活动形式多样,针对文章的细节让她和组员进行讨论,挖掘文章的内涵和外延,当她和组员的的思想相互碰撞时,产生了积极的创新思维,从而让她在语境中学习和运用语言。但是在提问她作者为什么喜欢这一部分时,很多想表达的思想由于自身词汇的贫乏而无法表达。在课下要求她注意积累课外词汇,并单独对她进行作文一对一辅导。
